There are instances when transactions were entered with the wrong date or posted to the wrong month. Previously, you would have to un-post or do a reversal, etc. Yardi now has a function in the too box where the date or post-month can be updated without un-posting or doing a reversal. You’ll need access to the Administration menu to run this function. Under Toolbox, click on Update Trans Date.
